Jane Rylett, PhD, was always fascinated by how things are put together and how they work. Her graduate work exposed her to the struggles of Alzheimer patients and their caregivers, and the impact neurodegenerative disease can have on our aging population. This lead to the development of a research program studying the way nerve cells communicate information and changes that occur in aging and disease.

Susan became Artistic Director of the Grand Theatre in September, 2001. Prior to becoming the Artistic Director of the Grand, Susan was Artistic Director of the Globe Theatre in Regina for 8 years. She received her theatre training at the Department of Drama, University of Alberta focusing on acting. Rick Blickstead was appointed President and CEO of the Canadian Diabetes Association effective October 1, 2013, with a mandate of overseeing the CDA’s mission to lead the fight against diabetes by helping people with diabetes live healthy lives while we work to find a cure.
