Jane Rylett, PhD, was always fascinated by how things are put together and how they work. Her graduate work exposed her to the struggles of Alzheimer patients and their caregivers, and the impact neurodegenerative disease can have on our aging population. This lead to the development of a research program studying the way nerve cells communicate information and changes that occur in aging and disease.
