CTV Anchor and Stratford native Lloyd Robertson, OC will be speaking to members and guests of The Canadian Club of London at its Speaker Series Luncheon on Thursday, May 16, 2013. As Chief Anchor and Senior Editor of CTV News, Robertson was the leader of the country’s most-watched newscast, CTV National News with Lloyd Robertson. One of the most accomplished journalists in North America, Robertson joined CTV in 1976 and has been broadcasting for more than fifty years.

Prior to his retirement in September, 2011, Canada’s Most Trusted News Anchor covered major events such as the Terry Fox’s Marathon of Hope, the patriation of the Constitution, Princess Diana’s death and the 9/11 terrorist attacks, to name only a few. On the scene, he covered the funerals of four former Canadian prime ministers and the elections of nearly half of Canada’s prime ministers.
